Jo Malone English Oak Event – Chichester

Last weekend I attended an event at the Jo Malone store in Chichester as part of the launch of their English Oak fragrance. The whole event was such a dream, I feel so lucky to have been invited and had such a wonderful afternoon with some lovely local bloggers.

After a smooth start with some bubbles, chocolates and a good natter there was an amazing presentation of the new scents. This is the first time English Oak has been used as part of a fragrance and I honestly can’t believe it hasn’t before. It’s such a British icon and the smell really takes me back to childhood memories of camping and woodland adventures with my family.

Have I found the best foundation ever?

I think I have. I can’t remember now which beauty blogger I saw raving about this foundation but when I read the review I knew I had to try it out… and I’m so pleased I did. As you may know, I love a subscription box so when I found out about Ethical Kitchen, I couldn’t pass up the chance for coffee, chocolate and snacks delivered to my door.

Don’t Faff Guide #2: One Thing at a Time

I’ve been a bit slow in writing the next set of these posts, but don’t worry they’re on the way! Today I want to talk a bit of a weird technique I use to help stop me faffing and make sure I get at least some of my goals achieved. I like to think I’m ambitious, which is great, but I’m also quite indecisive which means I end up with lots of different grand plans. Plans to open an online shop, plans to improve my blog, plans to start doing more crafts… I have lots of plans.
