My Pumpkin Adventure

Last Saturday I had the most autumnal day possible with coffee in the morning, a nice autumn walk and a trip to Slindon to pick up some pumpkins. It may not quite be a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own, but in a way it was better than that due to just the vast variety of pumpkins, gourds and squash available. Slindon just seems to be really pretty anyway, with loads of the houses covered in leaves and quaint little paths to walk down. Every year for charity, Slindon Pumpkins creates a pumpkin display that you can come and view (for free if you wish) and it really was impressive. This year the charity isĀ Sussex Wildlife Trust and depicted flowers with bees buzzing around them.

Barcelona

Come for the tapas, stay for the cocktails.

Barcelona was incredible. A few weeks back I spent a lovely long weekend in this city and had an amazing time exploring the streets and beaches. Obviously tapas in Spain should be good, but everywhere we went the food was just incredible. So many flavours, with the seafood putting the prawns we have in the U.K. to shame. What I really love about tapas is not having to choose, you just get a bit of everything. No food envy here, everyone can get stuck in.
