My Pumpkin Adventure

Last Saturday I had the most autumnal day possible with coffee in the morning, a nice autumn walk and a trip to Slindon to pick up some pumpkins. It may not quite be a pumpkin patch where you can pick your own, but in a way it was better than that due to just the vast variety of pumpkins, gourds and squash available. Slindon just seems to be really pretty anyway, with loads of the houses covered in leaves and quaint little paths to walk down. Every year for charity, Slindon Pumpkins creates a pumpkin display that you can come and view (for free if you wish) and it really was impressive. This year the charity is Sussex Wildlife Trust and depicted flowers with bees buzzing around them.

Things I love about Autumn

With Autumn now in full swing, I thought I’d write a little post about my favourite parts and why it’s special to me.

Autumn Walks

I just love the changing of the seasons where the weather starts to get that bit colder and the colour of the leaves start to change. This is probably the time of year I actually go on the most walks because I love it so much –  nothing beats wrapping up warm on a chilly day. I’m also very lucky that Sussex has some of the most beautiful places to visit.

Cinnamon

Cinnamon buns, cinnamon candles, cinnamon bagels… give me all the cinnamon.
