I’ve become obsessed with many things since getting engaged earlier this year, but I never expected my skin to be such a big one. Flowers, pastels and getting those little details just right were expected but I didn’t think I’d fall down a black hole of skincare products and regimes.
I’ve been on a bit of a mission really to discover what type of skin I have and the best products to suit it, so when Juliette Armand got in touch about reviewing some of their products I obviously jumped at the chance. They’re also in the process of a complete revamp of their packaging, with a clean, professional look that I’ve included an image of below. This feels like such an improvement, modernising the brand and showing off the quality of the products so much better.
For now I’ve been testing the same great products the rebrand will include and was sent a selection to try. Regarding my skin, I’ve recently discovered I have much drier skin than I’d previously considered so a really moisturising cream and serum were a must. However, I’m also prone to breakouts around my chin which a detoxing mask is perfect for helping to combat. All this, plus a Foaming Face Cleanser to remove make-up and impurities and I was good to go.
My favourite product from the selection was by far the Agile Scrub Mask. I could really feel this working to detoxify the skin and seems perfect for using once a week. The Extra Moisturizing Cream was also a winner and I loved the rich creamy texture of this. If you don’t have dry skin this could also work as a really great night cream.
Since starting my perfect wedding day skincare mission I’ve read so much about serums so was excited to try the Vitamins Complex Serum. Serums seem to make such a massive difference to my skin, as I wake in the morning feeling fresher and love including them in my before-bed rituals. Unlike this time last year, I cannot go to sleep until I’ve washed, toned and moisturised and I really believe it’s making all the difference.
I’ve really enjoyed using these Juliette Armand products and has been so great testing out a brand I’d not previously heard of – will be sure to keep an eye on what else they have available in the future. For now they’ve become a strong addition to my quest for perfect skin.
