A couple of weeks ago I was invited by the lovely Katie of Katie Kirk Loves to attend an event at Bluebelle & Co in Brighton where we would had free reign of the shop after hours and plenty of opportunity to look at all the different bits and bobs they have in store. It was a bit of a drizzly day but Lauren was so welcoming and had put out lots of lovely snacks and drinks whilst we all wandered about.
It’s amazing really, because I must have walked past this shop a hundred times when wandering into Brighton from the station but have never gone in! It’s on Trafalgar Street so super close to the station and is home to a mix of homeware, gifts and children’s clothes. I think I must have always assumed it was mainly a kids shop but once you get inside it’s a whole other world and I just loved finding new exciting products on random step-ladders and cabinets.
Bluebelle & Co houses a whole range of products, predominantly from House of Disaster for homeware/gifts and Powell Craft for childrenswear. As it turns out I have actually seen lots of House of Disaster products in other shops before and have always been a big fan! What’s amazing about Bluebelle & Co is that they get all of the House of Disaster products before anywhere else as it’s all part of the same family.
Bluebelle & Co has got such a great feel to it and I love how all of the products are displayed on a mix of vintage furniture. The above section with the bed is a personal favourite… it just looks so comfy and the temptation to go and have a little nap on it was pretty strong!
There are so many products I loved – the whole place is filled with such gorgeous prints. I definitely need to go back and get one of these bathrobes and I’ve made a huge list of gifts I can buy for people from here! I would definitely recommend this place for gifts as there’s a really great mix of vintage and modern. The Urban Garden collection was probably one of my personal favourites and Lauren kindly allowed us a £20 spend in the shop I picked up a gorgeous cacti trinket pot which I hope to feature in a future post along with a really pretty tray which is currently inspiring lots of breakfast in bed opportunities.
I had so much trouble choosing the photos to include in this blog post, there were so many I loved. Ever since the event I’ve spent so much time looking through their online shop. You also get free delivery when you spend over £50, which is pretty handy as if you’re anything like me you HATE delivery fees! If you are local to Brighton though, I’d really recommend going and having a look around for yourself.
I had such a lovely evening and it was great meeting so many bloggers from the local area. I especially can’t wait to go back again and friends and family should probably expect a few surprises from here in the future. The children’s section is also sooo cute… the tutus especially. Just everything really.
Thanks so much for reading! If you wanted to visit the online shop I’ve put a link here. Until next time!
